"Here's another question.

"Here's another question. Hopefully getting ready to start the beast this weekend. Would it be wise to use the rigid tubing or flexible reinforced mesh racing style tubing from the fuel pump to the carb (AQ225D)???????

"You cannot go wrong by using

"You cannot go wrong by using steel tubing. If, however, you decide to use a flex hose, you will have to make sure it is suitable for marine use; i.e. the hose must be of the adequate fire rating, and relevant information (type of hose, manufacturer name or registered trademark, and the year of manufacture) must be permanently marked in the hose. "

"If you are good with a tubing

"If you are good with a tubing bender, fab one up out of a brake line. Otherwise use flex. Carbs operate on low fuel pressure, 3-5 PSI, you can even get away with fuel line and a pair of hose clamps on either end. Just make sure it clears your belts."
