Is it possible to change out t

Is it possible to change out the entire volvo 280 sp outdrive and replace it with a 290 dp-a duo prop drive with out changing the transom shield. I do know that you can just change the lower unit

To the best of my knowledge, both legs are interchangeable except for the suspension fork.

As you see, the intermediate housing (part 1), the water tube (part 22) etc are identical, so my guess is that you will just have to replace the suspension fork, reverse pawl mechanism, etc to make it fit."
