How do you remove the steering

How do you remove the steering cable from the engine end of the cable. I have a 1987 50hp force
outboard.
 
UNhook steering link arm 9/16

UNhook steering link arm 9/16 wrench depending upon how much room between hull and motor most times you need to lift motor off boat pull to side you move the engine away from cable install in reverse order
