Hello...I'm looking for so

Hello...I'm looking for some experienced tips on re powering my '79 Chrysler Conqueror. I have to pull the engine and really leaning toward a 360 Magnum but was wondering if anyone has tried putting aluminum heads on a small block for the weight savings as much as anything else. It is a fresh water boat naturally and has raw water cooling...Thanks

That's what I thought but I figured I better ask...I was considering the magnum for the heads but after market aluminum heads on a pre-magnum block may be an option. Do you have any idea on a good cam profile for marine apps...? I followed a link to a site that sells the actual Chrysler cams. Who would've thought...
 
A good truck motor cam (RV

A good truck motor cam (RV type especially) will work if you can't find a marine cam.

Don't even think of using aluminum heads (or a manifold) without FW cooling (as you stated).
