"I have winterized my boat for the past 2 years, changed oil and filters. Before starting out this year, should the u-joints be attended to in any fashion. If so, can the bellows be loosened, when the drive unit is in the up position to get access to the u-joints? As you can see, I have never had a bellow off, or looked at the joints before. The reason for the question, is I noticed at the end of last season, a slight vibration/bearing sound when proceeding at idle. When up on plane, the normal engine noise would drown out the sound.
