The motor is model TJ40ELETB.

The motor is model TJ40ELETB. Motor appears to be low hours and turns over well and good compression but no spark to plugs. Where should I look first to replace? Thanks for your time.

The first thing to check is make sure the emergency kill switch hasn't been activated.

This motor is on a 1993 18' bass tracker pontoon boat and I cannot find an emergency kill switch on it. Does anyone know if this 1993 model pontoon boat has an emergency kill switch?

"Locate the black/yellow cable

"Locate the black/yellow cable coming out from the power pack and disconnect it.
If engine starts -search for short in ign switch or emergency stop switch. Have even come across short in the big red contact in the cable harness.
If still no spark, most likely the power pack is 'gone'.
If You got an original remote control, the emergency switch is there."
