Manifold question 360 Chrysler

I have a 28 silverton with 360

I have a 28 silverton with 360's in it.It is a v drive configuration.My question is this:The intake port for the raw water cooled manifold is on the top of the end plate.Should I move it to one of the 3/4 "plug on the bottom of the manifold so it will fill from the bottom and expell any air in the system or leave it where it is?

Yes: This is OSCO's recommendation.

No: A whole bunch of Marinettes (including mine) are plumbed that way and it works fine.

Both: I accidentally left out the copper tube that goes inside the manifold--and that one runs the coolest!

Take your pick.
