"Currently my boat has two bat
"Currently my boat has two batteries. It doesn't have a radio so i'm going to get one soon and i plan to also add an amp or two; as well as a power inverter.
My plan is to get an additional battery and use the two original batteries as one battery bank for my power hungry add ons. The boat already has a perko switch to differentiate between two separate batteries, or batter banks as will be in my case.
My question is with the wiring. How do i wire the two batteries that are going to be one (black to black red to red etc..)? Also, should i wire my amps directly to the two battery bank? Of course with a fuse block as close to the battery as possible. I know i have to use tinned wire instead of regular car wire. thanks for the help."
