Using Amsoil Marine Oil Model 270 Engine

Would there be any issues usin

Would there be any issues using Amsoil Marine 4 Stroke 10-40 in a model 270 5.7L engine? Engine was rebuilt last year.
 
Crusader doesn't recomment

Crusader doesn't recomment using synthetic oil in the engines. I would think it would be good to use it but they say the way they are run it donesn't need it???
