"Hi all and thanks in advance for any and all help. I have a 1959 35 hp Johnson outboard that i am trying to replace the points and condensors on, ihave tried pulling the flywheel with a puller but have had no luck yet. Any pointers or tips, or am i just doing something wrong. Thank you . Vincent"

"Lee... Hopefully you are usin

"Lee... Hopefully you are using a puller that incorporates three bolts that screw into the three threaded holes surrounding the flywheel nut.

If so, tighten the center spindle down as tight as you can get it.... really TIGHT! Now, using a large screwdriver or some tool of your choosing, apply a slight upward pressure on the outside portion of the flywheel.

With that pressure applied, use the largest hammer you have and belt that center spindle downwatd as hard as possible. That should do it. Let us know how you make out.
