"I'm trying to convert my 25 evenrude to electric start. Boought a used starter, bracket, flywheel, etc... The bracket on the starter doesn't have a hole to mount what appears to be a timing stop. The bracket on the motor has this stop. Please advise.

"the bracket is for an older engine...u might,..be able to drill and install the timing stop...timing should be checked after that."

"Thank you. Starter doesn't work with my flywheel. the flywheel that came with the starter will not fit on my existing crank shaft. After research, It seems I'll need a starter that will fit my flywheel not a different flywheel. Will keep looking. Thanks for your help."
