Inline mercury power trim swap

"I have a mid 70's 80 hp.(800) with manual tilt, and a mid 80's 115 hp. mariner with power trim and seperate reservior. Can I swap the tilt trim swivel bracket from the 115 to the 80 with no problem? will it bolt right up? Thank you in advance Oran"

"Oran, That PTT unit will bolt onto your 80HP swivel clamp, no need to swap the swivel sections, which is a PIA.

Remove the power trim cylinders and the brackets from the 115HP. Now remove the manual tilt cylinders from your 80HP. The PTT brackets bolt to your swivel bracket, where the old trim cylinders upper mount was. Use the same 1/2" fine thread bolts"
