"I'm pulling the powerhead. Any special tips from anyone outthere? The only think I'm looking at, is it seems to be stiking near the rear of the block, I think all the fasteners are removed..."

"Nope, but I got it off, i missed a bolt covered in goo, and had to get the shift rod loose. Left the lower unit intact. Have most of the misc. parts bagged now, getting ready to crack the case."

"i highly recommend u pull the lower unit,..u need to put a new water pump kit in anyway,while u are doing all this wk,for whatever reason,...and,it is going to be a huuuuge PITA,to re-inst powerhead,w lower unit on,..u cant turn the flywheel,and u cant turn the lower unit(d-shaft) u might screw up the impeller if turned wrong way."
