Digital duel yamaha gauges both read when port engine is running even with starboard switch off

"I have duel 225 yams 4 stroke

"I have duel 225 yams 4 strokes 2006 with digital guages, When I start port motor both guages read even with starboard motor switch off. When starboard motor is running it still only reads port motor. Please help this is makink me crazy."

"somehow,..the oposite gauge,is getting its pulse signal,from other engine....a wiring prob under dash i would say,..but most gauges now,have plugs,not loose wired in..a rig that new,should go back,to dealer that rigged it."
