I have a J9 Clinton outbroad e

I have a J9 Clinton outbroad engine.
serial number 65815.
type number 14-14-9-6-0-7
I would like to know how much hp it has
and if I could get a female fuel line connector.
Please help me.

"John, the J9's were a single cylinder 5 horse built between 1959-65. Later models incorporated a name (eg. Chief J9) and then an extra letter AJ9.

You may be able to find a fuel connector at a outboard recycler. However, you are probably better off changing both the male/female fittings all together to something more modern. You could go with OMC fittings which are both universal (among OMC's) and economical...."

Thank you for responding.

At the fuel line connection there is a round fuel
pump with 2 lines hooked to it. How do you do away with that part with a newer style?
