I Have a 1999 honda 40 that ha

I Have a 1999 honda 40 that had a bad sealing cover to pan gasket allowing for some water to enter when coming off plane. I noticed the water very slow in draining and a little always remained sloshing around in the pan under the powerhead so I suspect there are some drains that are cloged but I dont see them and I would like to clear them. I have since repaired the cover seal problem but would still like to clear the drains if there are any

IT IS FINE TO FILL THE HONDA UP WITH FRESH WATER ONCE THE COVER IS OFF SLOWLY FILL IT UP AND YOU SHOULD SEE WATER COMING FROM THE GAP HALF WAY DOWN THE LEG.IF NOT IT MAY BE THE SALT THATS BLOKING IT UP BUT THIS SHOULD DISSOLVE AND ONCE THE FRESH WATER HAS PASSED USE SOME WD40 TO LUBE AND HOPEFULLY ITS ALL OK.
