I picked up a boat with this m
I picked up a boat with this motor. Some knucklehead removed a screw in the intermediate housing that he mistaked for the oil fill (swear it was not me). It dropped the shift linkage. Now I presume I have to remove the lower unit and play "tip and roll" in an attempt to get things aligned. 1. Any suggestions? 2. What is the procedure for removing this 20" lower unit? 3. Is it true the Forces had cooling/carbon issues that can be minimized via more frequent decarbonization? Thanks.
