i want to swap prestolite star
i want to swap prestolite starter for bosch starter. prestolite has 10 pinion teeth and bosch has nine bosch but seems to roll round the ringear nicely by hand was told it was off a 50hp is it the right bosch starter and also on the engine adapter plate rubber grommet on water pipe grew causing damage got powerhead repaired got replacement plastic grommet but not sure wether it goes above pipe flange or below on pipe then the retainer plate some advice would be appreciated thanks justin
