"I have a old 5 3/4 hp. Water

"I have a old 5 3/4 hp. Water Witch model 671.23, that I believe is a 1940 model. The spark plugs in it are AC 87-M . I cannot find anyone who can cross reference them to a modern number. Does anyone out there have a reference to obsolete/discontinued plugs, and their replacements?"

As a folow-up to my own question.....I found that Champion # UD-16 are a perfect fit. and as they have an application to the same era Johnson outboards they must have close to the same heat range as the originals. It's the best I can do...
