"I need to find a 1977 vintage marine Chrysler 318 4 bbl intake manifold- raw water, thermo housing sits in the middle with mounting screws on each side. Any help locating one would be appreciated."

Evidently Chrysler parts like this will be scarce in the near future as the castings have been purchased by some company that wishes to raise the price of old items made new. Well, the last one I had went 30 years, so I guess the price ain't bad. Thanks for responding."

Yes. The interaction of the aluminum and the cast iron will shorten its life, however.

At $200 a pop instead of $600 for the cast one who cares if they only last 5 to 10 years.
