"Brian, usually the easiest way is to have a book in hand and then look at your ignition. Alot of the Force models during the late 80's/early 90's had a Prestolite ignition.

Some of them had black boxes others blue (more common). Looking at the parts list for your model, it says you should have the Blue (system). Blue CD box and blue coils. A quick visual check will confirm this..."
