"I have inherited a 5hp Mercury approx 1997 build, can somone please tell me the fuel / oil mix.

Also what type of grease that should be used in the leg and how do you know when you have used enough grease?"
 
"Use 50:1 with true 50:1 oil,

"Use 50:1 with true 50:1 oil, not the cheapo stuff. Any good quality grease will work unless that model used the newer, synthetic stuff. You might want to ask a Merc dealer.
