Welcome! The mission of this board is to provide an easy, efficient feedback system for users to share information about marine engines and motors. Its function includes providing technical support and answering questions regarding repair and troubleshooting of all sorts of marine engines including inboard, outboard, sterndrive, gas, and diesel.

The great majority of responses to questions on this board are made by individuals who generously contribute their time to help people they have never met. In many cases those answering questions are active or retired marine professionals, but in many cases they are not. It is your responsibility as a user of this board to evaluate any answer or feedback you receive. We offer no guarantee or assurance that the information you receive is suitable for your application.

That being said, there are thousands of people who have found answers and assistance on this board and have saved time and money by accomplishing their own repairs.

Regular users of this board will notice that the format has changed this week. We have updated the board software to be cleaner, faster, and better suited to use on phones and tablets. It should also be easier to post photos and links and perform other editing. The categories and functionality is the same. Your username and password should be the same as it was previously. If you have trouble logging in you could try the "forgot password" link and have a password reset email sent to you.

Please let us know if you have questions or difficulties. Thanks for your support of this board and the MarineEngine.com website in general.

Thanks!

Andrew
