"First off I used the search feature and brought up about 20,000 answers that did not address my question.
I found clean engine oil on my driveway under my engine. Oil was coming out from the cowling. Took cowling off and noticed oil on engine.Checked oil resivour and cap both appear ok, no obvious cracks. Main oil tank was empty ,was 1/4 full at the start of the day and only ran 20 minutes. Any ideas ?"

"Simplest thing is the hose that indicates the oil level in the tank might have come a little loose at the bottom. I just picked up an engine that had that problem.

Clean up the oil on the engine, dump a bit into tank and then wait a couple min and see where it's comming from..."
