I bought a boat last October and it came with two Suzuki Outboards DF140. I want to winterized the motors. I checked the owner's manual and it says to spray Suzuki fogging oil into the air inlet (page 41) with a diagram. I opened the cover and could not find the air inlet. So I called a couple of Suzuki dealers for help. One said they do not winterized the engines - keep the engines vertical and crank it a couple of times to get the water out of the water pump. Another dealer said to drill a hole in the inside plastic cover and spray the fogging oil. Then plug the hole. Does not sound right. Yet the manual recommends winterizing the engines. The diagram on page 41 is not very clear as to where exactly to spray the oil. Any help is appreciated.
