I’m looking for parts to rebuild a carburetor from Tillotson, the carb model is OM-31. I've the engine manual, however, it does not have the part-numbers or kit-numbers for the carburator replacement parts/kits.
The engine is a CHRYSLER 80HP inboard. This engine was originally made for SIMCA cars.
The issue I’ve is that the engine is running too rich. Especially in idle speed, there is a lot of black staff coming out of the exhaust. When you increase speed, it gets a bit better, but you can still see a bit of black smoke coming out. I’ve done the proper adjustment on the float and no gas leaks from the carb. The gas pump is the original one for the engine, a mechanical arm, which seems to be working fine. The engine runs good without any problem with those carbs, only issue I’ve is pollution in the water.
I’d appreciate if you could help me find parts for the carburator or indicate someone that may be could help.
