What would be involved to accomplish this upgrade? Can you just pull the outdrive by removing the 6 bolts and bolt the Bravo 3 right up? Engine coupler?

Then the Bravo Transom Assembley can be bolted in....

The motor will need to be Refit with the required Bravo parts,+ reinstalled......

The Only Thing shared by the Alpha 1 Gen.II,+ the Bravo are the Holes in the boat's Transom....."

"You will also need to add a belt driven raw water pump, as the Bravo has no internal impeller pump.

The engine coupler is the same shaft diameter and splines, but the Bravo coupler is much beefier. You would want to switch to the Bravo coupler, especially if it's a V-8.

Your current engine bellhousing lug mounts will bolt right up to the Bravo transom assembly, holes are the same size and dimensions apart, for both Alpha and Bravo.

The Bravo Y pipe will fit right up to the exhaust elbows, or you can also reuse the Alpha Y pipe.

You can reuse your current trim pump.
