Converting to fresh water cooling

"i have 2 chrysler 383 engines 1971 with double raw water pumps and an engine water pump. would like to convert to fresh water cooled engine 1/2 system . one engine only has 75 hours on it and the other will be new. do i need a kit or can i just redirect the engine cooling side trough the heat exchanger and lve the raw water side as is. if so does anybody have a piping diagram. i have original manual showing cooling system as is and will share what i have. ay info would be helpfull thanxs. I suggest, if you want to go this way, that you replace those dual pocket monstrosities for a conventional circulating pump. A good junkyard can supply the timing gear housings, and you can then buy a couple of pumps.

Not sure how successful you will be with the rust issue, however, if you convert old, raw water cooled motors to FWC. It's been done, but one has to do a lot of flushing before the rust flakes stop showing up to clog up the exchangers.
