I am considering buying a 2000 Chris Craft Penta 5.0 Gi and we found out that the transom seal is leaking. My question is the boat only has 120 hours on it. What would cause the leak? Could it be that they hit something that compressed the seal and is the boat worth taking the risk on even if they fix it?
