I have a 15HP Mariner 15M outboard. Per the numbers it looks like it is a 1982 model. What would the fuel mixture ratio be for this engine?

I am using 50:1. Is that correct?

Please help as I do not wnat to damage the engine"

"Either in a service/repair manual such as Seloc's, the users guide or the factory service manual for the motor.

That particular model was built entirely by Yamaha for Mercury and sold as a Mariner and suspect your model/serial number starts 684-xxxxx.

Pretty much all the 2 cycle outboards produced since 65/66 (depending on the mfg) have been 50:1 mix with regular unleaded gas and TCW-3 rated 2 cycle Marine engine oil...."
