Can anyone recommend a convers

Can anyone recommend a conversion kit for this engine? Preferably without having to remove the distributor.

Your existing coil should work fine as long as it was working OK before, although for about $40 you can buy a new Pertronix Flame Thrower coil, which is what I did after I installed my conversion kit...I wanted to be sure everything was in good order, especially since the old coil was 30+ years old."

"Laddie, remove the distributor. This will allow access to the small screw which holds the condenser and rubber plug. If you elect to remove the screw without removing the distributor place a shop towel or similar on the engine to prevent the screw from falling into the timing belt or gears."
