Any help how to change the wat

Any help how to change the water intake hose on a 1987 Mercruiser 350 Alpha with out removing lower unit?

i think you might bite the bullet and change
if you do that i would change all the bellows
 
Someone told me that one could

Someone told me that one could attempt to "push" existing hose into engine compartment after removing two bolt assembly. Any comment?

I think the hose still connect

I think the hose still connects between the OD and gimbal. Another hose connects on the inside of the transom. The hose is molded and must be installed properly. Do it right. Include the bellows like JUST-IN-TIME said. Inspect and lube the U-joints and gimbal bearing.
