"have a 1973 888 which I'm converting to an alpha one. I have the old trim pump high presure low volume and cylinders. This also has the reverse lock up and trim sender switch on the inner transom. My questions are!
What is the part number of the trim pump needed to get rid of all this stuff, especially the reverse lock up switch? I've read on the web that the newer pump(s) have the reverse lockup built into the pump, also they require larger hoses, which I have. I'm also comfused when some of the sites talk about "Quick Disconnect Lines".
I know I'll have to get different cylinders. Preferable XD. But which ones long or short housing?
I'd like to get the equipment from a 1973 state to a 1980's state.
