"This engine runs great. However, when I lower the engine to the transom saver after I put it on the trailer, it makes a horrible noise. Almost a grinding sound. The fluid level is fine. Also, when I am at full throttle, it will only trim up to a certain point and no further. When I am at idle, it works like it should...except for the noise. There are no leaks anywhere and it is only three years old. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have a tournament next Saturday and I would really like to get it taken care of by then. Thanks!!"

I have the same engine and am having similar problems. If you got the problem fixed can you tell me what needed to be fixed?

I just changed the fluid out a

I just changed the fluid out and cycled it several times. It helped a little but it still makes a grinding type noise at certain points. It is funny but it works just fine. If I could just get a solid fix for that noise I would be super happy.
