"Intermittent problem developed just this year on 4 different pontoon boats (rentals) w/ Honda 40hp. Occasionally won't go over 3000rpm. Then next day they can run fine. Tune ups, service, gas lines and bulbs replaced, no water in fuel. Can't figure it out. Someone suggested it may be fuel pumps starting to fail. Need Help!"
