"I have a 19' Bayliner with an AQ 125/270. The prop on it now is off some other drive;15-3/4 x 17 with a center exhaust. At 4500 rpm I'm only running about 28mph. What is the original prop?

"That's not a bad speed but it's not the right prop for the V/P drive. Someone has rehubed it to fit the V/P shaft. Your boat should have a 14" diameter prop on it, you'll have to play with the pitch. I'm guessing 17"."

"I have the exact same boat, my prop is a 14x19 and she will max out at 4900 rpm at 35 mph with 4 adaults in the boat. Let me know if you can find any way to get 40 out of her."

You might have to throw a couple of the adults overboard. ha ha ;) 35 is a lot better than 25. It's usually just me and one other.

Who has the best price? I live in coastal Georgia. I'd prefer a stainless prop because of the salt but since I don't keep the boat in the water I can use an aluminum one.
