Lube for impeller or driveshaft

" I will be putting back toget

" I will be putting back together the lower unit of my '85 2hp Evinride tomorrow. Went ahead and got new seals, spacer, gaskets, and impeller for it.

When putting the new impeller in the impeller assembly, is there any sort of lube I should apply?

Likewise, should I apply grease to the top of the drive shaft where it inserts into the power head?

The pump impeller is lubricat

The pump impeller is lubricated by the water it pumps. Grease is a must do on the driveshaft.
