" I was tuning my 15R74S and found out the armature plate that turns with the trottle is a litte wabbly. Is it normal to have a little play or should it be tight? If it should be tight, is there a way to solve that problem?? What should be the torque of the flywheel nut??

With that engine does anyone now what is the correct pitch i should be using when i put it on a 14 1/2 X 70 inches wide fiber glass boat witch is 400 pounds. "

"Joe Reeves has a good method of tightening this up; it involves peening the brass ring located under the armature with a punch. At one of the other forums he used to have a step by step to do this, but I believe it can't presently be found by searching due to some problems on the server. Perhaps he might have it posted elsewhere?"
