Im told i have an 1989 Johnso

Im told i have an 1989 Johnson 150 V6 O/B - All I can read is the serial No. (r) 0822062. Is there any way to cross reference this to verify if my motor is an 89 or a 90?

I have never run across anyone that can date an OMC product from the serial number. The model number should be on the nameplate, that will date it... "
