" I need info on how to replace the impeller, is there a special tool required? Also, I rebuilt the fuel pumps and carbs. The motor idels fine but dies when I excelerate? Any ideas? "
 
No special tools required to

No special tools required to change the impeller. You may need to open the low speed jets an 1/8 turn at a time to get better acceleration.

" Sparky thanks for the help. However I haven't been able to crack the lower unit case apart. I've removed the water inlet disk, two 5/8 nuts from the underside and two from the upper half as well as a 9/16 from the upper in the very back. What have I missed? Please advise me on my next move.
