"Carla.... You can safely use the standard 50/1 mixture in that engine (1 pint oil to 6 gal fuel). Just be sure to use a good quality oil from one of your local marine dealers ie OMC, Yamaha, etc. I would avoid the gas station and discount store brands if possible.
