" Yes i get very little water out of the exhaust relief at full throttle, and yes the overheat horn does work,but it only does after a half hour or so of running.i'm starting to think i have a partial blockage between the powerhead and the water pump, and i seem to be getting a heap of water out of the leg, tho ad it off twice, should there be a grommet between the pump and the pump tube? "

There is a grommet between the locating tube and the housing.Blown head gaskets will cause overheating.Is the new impeller factory or after market?
