" I inherited a 1956 Johnson S

" I inherited a 1956 Johnson Seahorse. When I ran it it started out OK, but as it built up pressure, it really started leaking out gas in fairly steady stream. It seemed to come from the side opposite of the throttle, and up near the front - closest to the driver.

Any ideas? "

Time for a carb cleaning/rebuild. Also a good idea to check and replace all the hoses, too....
