" 90 HP Evinrude, with non working oil injection system. Can I run this engine with oil/gas mixture, til I find someone to look at injection ssytem. "

If it is ficht you can not run on a mix. The mix would go right to the injector and bypass the lower end.

Oil/gas mix is fine on non ficht motors

A "Ficht" motor is a direct injected system. No carbs.
What is wrong with the oil injection? What is the model # of the motor?

NOt sure... trying to deal with the fellow to buy the motor... how much does 2 carbs rebuilt/tuneup/water pump est. cost these days @ a service center? 90 Evinrude motor

" You are probably looking at $400.00 - $500.00 for what you are asking. And that depends on the shop rate. The shops in my area charge from $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. Before buying this motor I would invest the money to have to have it checked out, by a qualified outboard mechanic. It usually takes about an hour. Ask the seller for the maintenance records. It is better to spend a little money before you buy it than alot after you buy it. Good luck! "
