Water in my oil what do I do?

Water in my oil what do I do? I spoke with a service guy at Honda and he said start with the thermostat. He said if it fails it could cause condensation in the engine. I was suspecting a bigger problem. I already changed the oil three times to clean the engine and ran the boat for a half hour but the oil was milky again.
Does any one have advice where to proceed from here.

I just took out the thermostat

I just took out the thermostat and it was very corroded. I didn't notice if it was stuck open but it didn't look good.I am going to change it and try the motor again. How much condensation would build up inside the engine over a season?

"I had a similar problem. As I

"I had a similar problem. As I was taking my pontoon with a BF75 out for the season, the engine was running so ruff, had to have the choke on to keep it running. Once out of the water, I found water in the gas. I pumped into a glass jar and it was clear the gas was contaminated. Fresh gas and 2 oil changes fixed the problem. I originally thought it was a cracked head, block or blown gasket."
