Well I have the prop worked out and the gas/oil mix is right on the $. Now, one other question. I have a "1974" Johnson 85hp and in the owners manual there is no place that they show a pee hole. Their is , however water coming out the water outlet, and some coming out the exhaust relief holes just below the hood. Is this normal or what? Now that I have the other stuff worked out the boat runs very well and does not seem to overheat. However it is not summer yet and the water is still very cold here in Indiana. What you describe is normal.

What you describe is normal. Test the horn in the control box. You slide the rubber cover away from the connecter at the cylinder head. With the ignition switch in the "on" position if you ground the connecter the horn should sound.
