" Has anybody had a transom mo

" Has anybody had a transom mount go out on a 1988 15 hp Johnson? The rubber mount must be under the engine where it connects to the lower unit. The symptoms are. If you power up the engine. The engine leans way back.
Does anybody know how to replace this rubber mount? Do you take of the engine? Or drop the complete lower unit from the bottom of the engine?

" I replaced the motor mount on a 87 15hp johnson and I had to remove the power head to do it. If I recall correctly,I had to remove the shift linkage rod coupler and something with the throttle also. "
