    Replacing Alpha Gen 2 upper and lower housings

    My upper and lower housings are starting to see major corrosion. The gearset and bearings are in excellent shape, so I'm going to switch all internals over into new housings. If all original bearings and gears will be reused, will I need to measure and reshim? Thanks.

    2001 225 Yamaha ox66 oil overflow problem

    Tearing my hair out with this one. Oil is draining out of the overflow tube from the engine oil tank into the air silencer. This seems to happen with the key off and no +12 volts to the remote tank pump. Has anyone experienced any sort of siphoning issues with the engine mounted tank?
