    Suzuki 9.9 Outboard kicker motor Throttle control locking question?

    So there's a thump screw tension device under the handle but I'm having trouble setting my speed. I want to go 2.0 - 2.2 but I can't keep that speed without using a wrench. Even then I can't get it tight enough. Keeps backing down and going slower. Advice please. Ken
