    CC 283 tranny and oil pan removal, advice needed

    Taking the remaining weeks of winter to rebuild the 283 V8 in my 1959 Sportsman. Removing the tranny and oil pan have me stumped. I've removed all obvious bolts (except for the 1 3/8 bolt at the end of the tranny) and can't get either pieces to budge. What am I missing? Do I have disassemble the...
